Zone 1- Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, and Sandwich Monday-Saturday | 7:30 AM-6:00 PM

Zone 2- Falmouth Monday-Saturday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

– There is a 10 mile maximum trip limit on SmartDART trips. Trip length will be calculated as the shortest road route between pickup and dropoff. Customers should connect with Fixed Route for longer trips.

-Customers May Travel Anywhere Within Their Zone. SmartDART will transfer customers to Fixed Route Services with a complementary transfer if customers wish to travel between zones.

Choose microtransit for your transportation needs on Cape Cod. Our trips are only $3.00 per person, available in Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Sandwich and Falmouth – making it the perfect way to get around Cape Cod. The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority provides app based, on-demand service called SmartDART that is a door-to-door, ride-hail service using the SmartDART App. Services are shared ride and provided on a first come, first served basis. Need OnDemand In A Different Cape Town?

App-based, OnDemand SmartDART is only offered in Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Sandwich and Falmouth but our regular DART service is offered 7 days a week across the Cape.

SmartDART does not operate on the following holidays:

Be Ready Early

Passengers are required to be ready for pick-up at the time of booking.

Accessibility For Passengers With Disabilities

Passengers may be asked to move to another seat to accommodate a disabled passenger.

Drivers will assist you to and from the first floor outside door of your house or apartment complex, but are not permitted to enter your house or apartment. Drivers are required to stay within sight of their vehicle at all times.

All wheelchair passengers must make sure that their pick-up and drop-off locations are wheelchair accessible. Our drivers cannot maneuver steps or other non-accessible locations.

Wear A Seatbelt

For your safety, please fasten your seat belt, while riding on the CCRTA buses. Passengers at least eight years old or at least fifty-seven inches tall must wear safety belts. The safety belts must be used correctly. You can be fined $25 for breaking this law.

Car Seats & Booster Seats

Child Passenger Restraints: Infants and small children must sit in federally approved child passenger restraints until they are at least eight years old or are at least fifty-seven inches tall. The child restraint must have a sticker that says it meets the necessary standards (U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213 or the standards in 49 C.F.R. 571.213). The restraint must be permanently attached to a motor vehicle or attached by a safety belt or an attachment system.

Rider Behavior

Eating, drinking, smoking, using devices with audible external speakers, disruptive behavior towards drivers and/or other passengers, or damaging CCRTA buses/property are all prohibited and may result in loss of ridership privileges.
