Rules For Bikes On The Bus
There are three (3) bike spaces available.

Only single seat, two-wheel bicycles will fit on the bike racks.
- No bike may be longer than 60″ or have wheels taller than 30″.
- Folding bikes are allowed on all Fixed Routes CCRTA buses at all times if they’re completely folded.
- Motorized bikes and vehicles are not allowed (ADA Vehicles are exempt) on CCRTA buses at any time.

The CCRTA is not responsible for your bike.
- The CCRTA and staff are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to any bicycle on the CCRTA vehicles.
- The bus operator can offer instruction regarding procedures’, but cannot physically assist in operating the bike rack.
Bike Rack Instructions
Loading
- The Passenger is required to remove all items from the bike that may fall off during the trip on the bike rack.
- The bus Operator is responsible for lowering the bike rack.
- The passenger is required to lift the bike onto the rails and place the bike where indicated.
- The passenger is required to pull the telescoping hook up and over the front wheel of the bicycle.
Unloading
- The passenger is required to pull the telescoping hook down and remove the bike from the rack.
- The bus Operator is responsible for raising the rack back to its original position.
